Our friends at HIC are hosting the first annual Uwannajam concert on June 26th at the Queen Mary.
Hinano teams up with Kaenon, Body Glove and Koffe Kart to bring you this annual paddleboard race that starts at the Isthmus on Catalina Island and ends 22 miles away at Palos Verdes. Kaenon host the 2nd annual SUP for a PUP in Newport Beach. This is a great event to raise money for A WISH FOR ANIMALS and find homes for pets in need. There will be pet adoptions, raffles, food/drink and great deals on surf apparel. Wahoos, Olukai, Hinano, Surfline, Surftech, SUP magazine, and VMG will all be part of this wonderful event! click image to enlarge
The 2nd annual Spring Kickoff was held in Huntington Beach at Flight Bistro and Lounge. Hinano welcomed a packed house of friends and associates to celelbrate! Once again Artist Drew Brophy (www. drewbrophy.com) spent most of the night painting custom art on a surfboard which was auctioned off at the end of the night. The event included live entertainment featuring One Drop Redemption playing Reggae Music throughout the night. Live drumming and polynesian dancers were a hit during the fashion show introducing Hinano’s Spring/ Summer 2010 collection. Thanks to all who came out to support and party the night away. It was that time of year again for Hinano's annual Spring Broke Party in Hawaii, and what a party it was! This was the 2nd year in a row at the Aloha Tower in Waikiki and the place was packed! Hinano teamed up with Nella Media Group, and MA' OHI NUI to bring you the party of the year in true Hinano style! This year’s entertainment lineup included a Hinano Fashion Show, showcasing the Spring/Summer 2010 collection, performances by MA' OHI NUI, and musical performances by Miko Sweet, Beach 5, and headliners Ooklah the Moc. There were raffled boards, gift baskets and other items in which all of the proceeds went local non profit Na Kama Kai (www.nakamakai.com). March 6th is the opening reception of “Doc Porto” the new works of John Culqui. The show is at the Surfing Heritage Museum Store located in South Coast Plaza West located in Costa Mesa. Raffle items are being donated by Hinano Tahiti and the show will go till March 28th. click image to enlarge
